Spoiler Warning

I felt the episode was a bit stupid and boring... again.
They decided to elope, Romeo gave up the great white pegasus, Cielo, for some stray brown pegasus.
Then he and Juliet went walking and walking and they went to a deserted church to get married by themselves.

Argh. Why giving up Cielo??

I don't feel like making any summary now, and this anime is a bit hard to swallow, and it still have many mysteries... But it's still a great series.

Anyway. Some of the scenes that made me think...
- Stay away from boys who can cook, because they're bad boys. Really? Did such saying even exist? I don't know what to think about boys who can cook, but I know one cook and he's not exactly a good guy.
- People who have wet ears (amemimi) has body smell. True? Really true?

I find the main character, Hei is charming... I heard somewhere that he's been 'shoujo-fied'. But really, an interesting character. He can look dumb sometimes, and yet he kills mercilessly and cruel, and he can cook, and he eat probably on the same level as Goku from Saiyuki, if not more.

Spoiler Warning

This is a twist story from Chinese legend Romance of Three Kingdoms. Other famous twist include the PS2 game, Dynasty Warrior. I'm not that familiar with the legend, so I'm not too sure for some stuff.

Lots of the story were modified, even the gender. Yes, one character is actually a male, but pictured as a female here. ;p And they included this Sovereign Seal that can give great power to the owner.

Comment:
The moe factors:
- The opening. It's very yaoi.
- It seems like supporting Koumei x Rikuson. That means Koyasu Takehito (Kururu?! I can't remember other roles XD) x Miyano Mamoru (Light in Death Note, Tamaki in Ouran)!
- The girly designed characters.
- Ishida Akira!!
- Basically, the characters, and the seiyuu.
I think it's aiming for fangirls. XD

Summary ep1-5:

Episode 1
The main character is Rikuson Hakugen 陸遜 伯言 (Lu Xun), whose dad is the safekeeper of the Seal. His dad was killed by the Sonsaku Hakufu 孫策 伯符 (Sun Ce). His teacher, Shoukatsuryou Koumei 諸葛亮 孔明 (Zhuge Liang) told him to serve under Go (Wu). However, when he went to Go, Sonsaku was attacked and killed, and the Seal was stolen. However, Rikuson gained the power, with some big armored arm. (Hint: Koumei x Rikuson)
Rikuson really adores his teacher, and Koumei even comb his hair, lookie!

Episode 2
Sonken Chuubou 孫権 仲謀 (Sun Quan), Sonsaku's younger sister (brother) is to become the king after her brother died (yes, her). Though I find it amusing when the subtitle refer her as "him" XD But then we don't know what she may hide... ;p She was very sad as well as Shuuyu Koukin 周瑜 公瑾 (Zhou Yu), who went to calm her (Hint: Shuuyu x Sonken). Shuuyu secretly held Haku's arm and wept... (Hint: Sonsaku x Shuuyu)
Sonken then went to visit Riku's family's tomb with Ryoutou Kouseki 凌統 公績 (Ling Tong) son of Ryousou Kouketsu 凌操 公訣, one of Go's top general. (Hint: Ryoutou + Sonken).
Rikuson then met Ryoutou. Ryoutou really likes Rikuson as he's the famous Crimson Warrior, and they sworn brothers rightaway (Hint: Rikuson x Ryoutou). XD On the coronation day, there was a massive arrow attack. And Rikuson came to the rescue with his new power.
Episode 3
Go people who saw Rikuson's power accused him of stealing the Seal and killed the king. But Sonken believed in Rikuson, who blushes cutely (Hint: Rikuson x Sonken). After some more reminiscence of the past, Shuuyu decided Rikuson need to take the recruitment trial, along with Ryoutou.
Taishiji Shigi 太史慈 子義 (Taishi Chi) was the judge. Other people on the trial were Ryoumou Shimei 呂蒙 子明 (Lu Meng), who is always referred as "henachoko" (weakling) by Taishiji, and Shokatsukin Shiyu 諸葛瑾 子瑜, who looks like a Chinese styled Lulu (FFX) queen, who turned out to be Koumei's brother.
Taishiji who didn't like Rikuson finally admitted him when he saved Sonken once again.
Episode 4
Kouso Genyou 黄祖 元陽 's army attacked Go. The warrior came out to defend. Ryoutou was getting impatient and tried to chase Kouso who appear to have the Seal's power. Kannei Kouha 甘寧 興覇 (Gan Ning), Kouso's underling, tried to hit Ryoutou with his arrow, however, Ryousou shielded him. And he died by one arrow... =___=;;

Episode 5
Rikuson tried to ask about the Seal through the captured Kannei. He went to give him food and tried to save him. But Kannei refused to speak. Kouso saved him and took him when he lost from a battle against him (Hint: Kouso x Kannei). Ryoutou who was furious by his father's death tried to kill Kannei. Rikuson had a bad feeling and searched for Ryoutou. When he found them, Kannei told him that Koumei was the one who gave Kouso the Seal...
Episode 6
Kannei's bell earring is cute... XD And his clothing is definitely something...
It was Kannei's execution day. But suddenly a bomb came, with mysterious aura around it. The execution was halt and they went to find the cause, Kouso.
Taishiji and Ryoumou went to attack him, but failed and went into the sea, where Ryoumou screamed for help XD Before hugged and saved by Taishiji XD Shokatsukin was next, after some SM scene, he, too, was thrown away into the sea.
Rikuson, who's depressed as his Kousen (sword's name) won't reply him, went against Kouso anyway. Suddenly Ryoutou jumped in put of nowhere and after he was beat up, Rikuson power up! XD However, he still lost. But was suddenly saved by Kannei, who finally realize his master's wrongdoing. Kouso was shot from afar.
I'm a bit sad that this episode's quality is not too good. Probably because I've been watching great quality anime (Production IG and Gonzo)?

Episode 9

Appear Camio, along with a dog's growl.
Conrad: Oh Camio~!
omg, a 'friend' from the past!
Juliet, saddened by Lancelot's death, decided to seriously make revenge.

Francisco saw Juliet's doubt and Curio said something a bit sharp to Juliet,
Francisco: *looks sadly at Curio*
Curio: *feels guilty* L-Let's go...
Willy who found out Juliet's identity decided to make her his main character.
Willy: SUTEKI da wa~! *happy shriek*

Meanwhile, Romeo decided to play with the ducks and some mysterious leaves at the pond.
And as expected, Camio is betraying Conrad.
He's seducing the guard who attacked Benvolio!
The leaves... come from a secret tree. The Duke came to visit Ophelia, the one who takes care of the tree.
Hmm, something different added to the original Romeo x Juliet, eh?
Conrad, overjoyed by the visit of Camio and the good news of the Duke going out of the castle with little guard, decided to go for an attack.
Juliet decided to go with it.
Francisco, who may look pretty, but is pretty sharp, was against the idea, so he went to a secret place *wink* ... to Tybalt.
And of course, Camio told that Montague guard the Capulet's secret place, and they were attacked!
Francisco who forsaw this told Juliet to leave from a secret passage with Anthonio, ...to meet the 'dark knight', Tybalt.
Juliet: *thump*
And the secret tree, turned out to be twins, one for Capulet one for Montague as the garden's gate's symbol?

And oh, they changed Juliet's last phrase!

Episode 10

Tybalt brought her to Neo Verona's night paradise, to hide there.
The first part was a bit boring. Romeo and Juliet being emo.
Romeo tried to go against his father's decision to hunt for Juliet, of course no one agree with Romeo...
Tybalt: The way you are now is useless.
Juliet: Nyoron~

And so Juliet walked in the rain, slapped by a woman, and found by...
*insert dramatic song*
Romeo's mother.
Tybalt who saw the scene from afar let them be.

Romeo received his mother's message and went straightaway.
Portia: Actually your father is the bad guy.
Romeo: Whaaaat!
Is it not obvious? I feel Romeo's and Benvolio's reaction were too much.
And why are they talking with a loud voice? In the corridor moreover!

Romeo met Juliet and he spent the night there...
Ahem. The famous Romeo Juliet scene.
The mother had a sad face. ...For letting the youngsters go? ;p

Oh noes, Juliet's phrase is back again.

Episode 8
Benvolio was to live with Curio (I think that's the name), Francisco decided.
Francisco: Isn't it wonderful to live with such a bishounen?
Curio: !@#$
Francisco: Too bad I'm not interested in men.
Curio: !@#$$%
Francisco: Look, Curio, I want you to be intimate with him. *serious eye*
XDD

Meanwhile, Romeo was slapped by his father who then wants to get rid of Cielo, but saved by the pitiful Hermione, who thought that Romeo secretly meets Benvolio.

Two posts on the same day during exam time?! I must be insane. I watched 9+ episodes today, as guilty as I already am... I'm continuing... ;____;

I'm blogging a shoujo series! *gasp* But the story's absorbing. Again it's a twist of yet another famous literature. Romeo and Juliet. I don't know the detail of the original story, nor have watched the adapted movie played by Dicaprio. But anyway.

Some small things I want to post about this anime.

1 The flag animation, it must've been done in 3D... Looks awesome.
2 The setting is awesome,
fantasy medieval yet have some futuristic touch, me thinks, those dense buildings...
3 "William Shakespeare" in here is portrayed a bit gayish ...and voiced by the Inoue Kazuhiko.

4 見つけーたっ！I found a *ahem* pairing to be slashed.
5 Don't you think Romeo looks innocently cute?
6 And a new sasuke-like-character! More stunning than Romeo? Who's Tybalt?

Episode 7
Benvolio's family is saved and the father is an ally who know Conrad.
And really what's so interesting about broom, eh, Benvolio?
The flower festival, eh? As always, somehow still manage to meet at some weird place. ^__^;
That chasing scene was romantic...
I feel pity for Hermione. But then again Romeo didn't ask her, she just assumed by herself! =___=;
